Fiona asked me for a scrambled white egg. So I scrambled up some egg whites and she ate them up. Now on day 3 of this ritual she is cracking the eggs, then I fish the yellow out and move to a separate bowl. She is ok with SOME yellow in her white. Then she mixes them both up and she eats the scrambled white and the dogs eat the scrambled yellow.
Gymnastics was a hoot. I had never been before. There are about a dozen classes going on at once in this big warehouse area. There were teen girls on balance beams, younger girls balancing on the hands of some teen boy. There was a trapeze. There were two year old's. Fiona's class went through a warm up then set out to do some gymnastic basic. All girl's in her class and when they are standing in line they are jumping all around, one girl was doing jumping jacks. Then the teacher does a running jump onto a mat and they are supposed to copy her. That kind of sorta works. Fiona seemed to have fun and it was fun to watch her jump around.

Sacramento Train Museum Today
Have not blogged in I do not know when. Today Fiona and I had a really good trip to the Sacramento Train Museum. It is a gem, a treasure. Fiona's parents are members so we got in free. We were there for about four hours.
On the way to the museum we stopped in a toy store and another store where Fiona wanted about $200. worth of stuff. I was able to happily say that I was not going to buy stuff and drag it through the museum! She was very happy to leave with a book from the Museum.
Fiona had a great time playing with the Thomas the Train set and ignore the five and two yr old drama that was swirling around her. There was a five year old there that was a head taller than Fiona and quite heavy. I guess her mother needed someone to talk to because she told me she was not really sure what nationality her daughter is because she does not know who the father is. She was drunk at conception. Fiona continued to play and have a great time as this "big" little girl tried to fit in and help all the other little children. There was a little boy there that was five years TODAY. He was about a head shorter than Fiona and really acted like a four year old. His mother decided to get out his Thomas the Train cars she had brought from home and let him play with them. She wrote his name on them. This started a riot with the two and three yr old set who all wanted one of those cars and could not under stand why they could not play. Meanwhile, Fiona is playing along happily. Then there was a four or five year old boy who got in that plastic bubble thing and proceeded to jump up and down banging his head on the top!! Meanwhile Fiona is playing happily. Oh did I mention that the parents of one of the two year old's had a fight and the mother stomped out because this was just two difficult. What a wimp.
Later we went downstairs and toured the train cars, Fiona did a puzzle on the wall and listened to all the telephones. A great day spent in the cool air conditioning. Outside it is 95.
